The drugs you have mentioned that are used as pep or post exposure prophylaxis are currently outdated. As the drug efavirenz 600 you have mentioned has been the essential first line drug in hiv infected for past 20 years. The paranoid delusions which you describe can be due to the illness itself or medications (rarely). By dictum delusions cannot be argued with and overcome, it has to be treated with medications to gradually reduce the paranoia. Consult a psychiatrist for remedy. Good luck.

In the beginning you will have some side effects of the medication you are having and over the time period you may start tolerating the meds. The govt Dr. has given you the therapy that is given as per government's protocols, though new regimes are now in the who's latest protocols.
