Hello, Thanks for the query.
Madam the tablet mentioned is a combination of some vitamins and probably thyroid extract (?). It is an absolutely irrational combination. No need to take it. It has no action in relation to having conception. Thanks.

Dear lybrate user, whoever has got a problem of thyroid-need to take their medicine regularly and for ever. Thyroid medicines are like supplemental hormone therapy. They're like important salt for the body which is deficient in people who have got thyroid problem. Hence thuroid medicines should be taken unless your doctor advises you to stop it.

Mr. T lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
There is no special preparation needed for doing thyroid test. Ideally blood should be taken before 10 ma in the morning. There is no need for keeping fasting state. Breakfast can be had. TSH levels are best tested before 10 am, to get accurate values. Thanks.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if you feeling fine with that dose and if tsh levels are within normal (desired) limit, then there is absolutely no problem. Thyroxine is actually similar to the natural hormone produced by thyroid gland. So most often it is very well tolerated. Some times side effects may be seen, early in treatment. But majority of patients do not experience any problems. Thanks.
