Cause of Premature Greying of Hairs.

1. Genetic + various environmental factors
2. Nutritional deficiencies like chronic protein loss, severe iron deficiency and copper deficiency.

Other causes implicated include stress, and administration of certain drugs and use of certain chemicals (medicated oils).

Premature greying of hair is greying before the age of 30 yr. After that it is natural physiological process. There are various reasons involved in it. Genetic factor is the important cause. Apart from that stress, nutritional deficiency esp vitamin b deficiency, thyroid problem are further causes.
Most ignored one is non conditioning of scalp regularly.
It is important to oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week.
