Hello doctor, my beta hcg on day 27 came to be 16.99. I was on duphaston from day 17 to 26. Can I continue the duphaston now until my hpt is positive! please assist, thanks much in advance!

Duphaston offers progesterone support .Your beta hcg level on D27 is low. You can repeat it after 7 days. If it is still less than 100 IU, no point in continuing Duphaston.

Wait for a week. Mostly you will get. If not then if there is possibility for pregnancy rule out the same by doing a test.

Digest 10mg has different composition.. It does not contain progesterone which is required to sustain pregnancy.

Symptoms are more or less the same. Only a urine pregnancy test or a blood test like serum b hcg will help you.

Continue taking tab duphaston till your expected date ,if you miss your periods then do urine pregnancy test.

Duphaston will only help in getting periods. Consult an infertility specialist to see if you are ovulating and if you need induction.

Duphaston is a progesterone that is usually given for pregnancy support in early pregnancy. Your doctor might have prescribed it for delayed periods, so that you have withdrawal bleeding. For this purpose a short course of 10 mg twice a day for 5 days is enough. If itâs for any other purpose, better to clarify your doubts with your doctor.
