Hello dear you do need medicines, yes I agree the Dr. Should have listened to you & sggsted some life style measures as well, as you have mentioned treatment without medicines, that's a long process but the benefits are life-long. You should have a healthy start in the morning relatively relaxed mornings, some light exercise, avoid bed during day time keep it only for sex & sleep, no watching t. V. No reading and go to bed only when feeling sleepy, don't go to bed and wait for sleep, whatever ti...more

Hello sir. Going by your hba1c and blood glucose levels your diabetes looks under control. It is also important to keep your blood pressure in check with regular monitoring. you are suffering for a long time. Each antidepressant should be tried for maximum dose for a period of 6 weeks at least before saying it is useless. Few antidepressant give partial relief like in your case. You need to add some supplements to increase its effectiveness. Some antidepressants cause your sodium levels to go down, causing more tiredness. Stick to one psychiatrist, make a list of the tablets, their dose, the duration of intake handy.
