Duphaston will only help in getting periods. Consult an infertility specialist to see if you are ovulating and if you need induction.

Duphaston is a progesterone that is usually given for pregnancy support in early pregnancy. Your doctor might have prescribed it for delayed periods, so that you have withdrawal bleeding. For this purpose a short course of 10 mg twice a day for 5 days is enough. If it’s for any other purpose, better to clarify your doubts with your doctor.

Pregnancy can occur only one day of cycle that is ovulation day so unprotected sex around that day only important. As only one day in month nature should be given 12-24 trials (12 to 24 months) before couple need any active management by Gynecologist or infertility specialist. In thyroid problem ovulation- release of ovum is deranged because of hormonal changes. So with patience continue consulting Gynecologist or infertility specialist in whom you have trust.
