Asked for male, 34 years old from Delhi

Recently I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which is also affecting my testosterone levels. I have increased estradiol. 5 years back I had finasteride which created imbalance in my testosterone (350 approx) and estradiol (45 reading in blood test). I know it all started after finasteride n although my symptoms are better if compare between today and 5 years back but still feel weak. please suggest. Can I use some anti estrogen for a while to bring down estradiol a little bit so that testosterone could get increased. I am forced to ask this because doctor has said its nothing to do with increased estradiol they simply say that estradiol is marginally increase. But I searched n found that increased estradiol can ruin testosterone and I feel like a weak man aged 32. Which was not the case prior to finasteride intake. please help.

If you are overweight then reduce weight because estradiol is produced by fat, your estradiol is marginally high for which you do not need medicine and estradiol does not'ruin' testosterone, it is produced from testosterone, so if testosterone is ruined estradiol is ruined. Treat your hypothyroidism and your hormonal imbalance will be ok.

Hi I am 29 years old. Having irregular periods. Advised by doctor to take TB duoluton l (0.25/0.05) for 3 months. I was having bleeding For 10 days. Took tranexa for 3 days. It stopped bleeding on 10 th day. Can I start tb duoluton l now on 11 th day?

Hello, you should be starting deletion for 15 days of the cycle so you may start from day 11-day 25.

I'm 29 years old, doctor prescribed me tb duoluton l for irregular periods, initially I was having spotting after wen periods came I was having bleeding for ten days have to take tranexa. Now I am on duoluton l still I am having spotting. Is it bcoz of tablet? USG, TSH pap smear r done. Nothing in reports. please suggest me something.

Instead of duoluton l you should take novelon which is normal dose of pills. Duoluton l is low dose pill that is why you r suffering from this.

In month of nov 2018 I got spotting I took duoluton l in dec for 21 days my ultrasound is fine no cyst nothing. My tsh lh prolactin tsh is also fine I am trying to conceive jan 2019 so when will I conceive after duoluton l? I have had medically aborted my first baby in sept 2017 is there any risk?

There is no risk of abortion after one medical termination. Why are you taking duoloton. Please consult a gynaecologist and do not take this medicine without prescription.

My doctor suggest to use Duoluton L tablets for 6 months but I use these tablets for 2 months and stopped to use the tablets, But I didn't get periods from past 4 months. So,I again Start using these tablets. I've used Duoluton L tablets for 21 days. But after 3-5 days I didn't get periods. What should I do.

Good evening doctor, my wife get abortion on 5th may after abortion he bleed for one week's after that bleeding stopped. From 15 th june his bleeding started in form of clotting after he urinates and still she is bleeding but not heavy. Her doctor told him to take duoluton l.two tablet in a day for three days and after that one tablet each day .but still she is bleeding the same way as before having duoluton l .is this normal please help.

Get a pregnancy test first. It could be incomplete abortion, infection. If both are ruled out, then you need another drug for 5 days to stop the bleeding.

I'm eager to conceive but I have a bilateral pcos problem, and my doctor suggested me to take duoluton l along with nosic tablet at same time, I am afraid if I again gain the weight because of duoluton l tablet I have searched on internet it is used for releasing the egg and prevent from pregnancy, then why my doctor suggested me this tablet I don't understand, please explain me in brief.

You probably have a high lh: fsh ratio which will prevent ovum formation in pcod. This is offset by taking duoluton for 2-3 months followed by ovulation induction.

Does taking Levonorgestrel right after periods cause the next period to start before it's time? For example my periods ended on Tuesday this week and I had unprotected sex this Saturday night (after 5 days of last period ending), so if I take Levonorgestrel on Sunday then will my next due periods start so quickly again? Will they start within the 10-15 days of my last periods? Is this to worry about?

Endoreg 2 tablet is a progestogen used in the treatment of endometriosis. This medicine is also used in a combination with ethinyl estradiol for contraception. As you have seen, it is not a contraceptive and yu have to take birth control pills along with it.
