Pl don't nebulize your little children straight way without trying alternatives as ultimately medication weakens immune response of baby. Following home remedy is very successful in cough and colds for children and they enjoy taking it. 1 teaspoon rooh of za sharbat ,1 teaspoon brahmi sharbat and few drops 10 drops of lemon in 30 ml water. Your medicine is ready. Repeat after 30 Mon 1-2 teaspoon.

No, levosalbutamol is only used in case of bronchospasm. Only be prescriped by pediatrician. Levosalbutamol can have adverse effects like tachycadia and hypokalemia.

Yes, you are absolutely right, it's should not be given till 3 to 6 months.
Reasons: Mechanism of Actions: it relaxed bronchial muscles (small wind pipe muscles), but Infant's wind pipe are deficient in muscles, no benefits in Infants.
Main problems in Infantile wind pipe during severe cold/cough is excessive secretions which might be treated with Hyoertonic Saline under Pediatric guidance
