My mother has been suffering from dry eyes problem since 15 years. Doctor has suggested "celluvisc 1% w/v, 0.4 ml, unit dose of allergen" as life long drug as a substitute for tears. Now this product mfg. Is stopped in india. Can you suggest alternative eye drops in place of celluvisc unit dose 0.4 ml available in india. .

For dry eye if you wish to use the same molecule as celluvisc then can use tearmax eye drops 2 to 3 times a day or other molecule like systane ultra eye drop 3 times a day is also beneficial.

I am suffering from chronic headache and doctor prescribe some medicine to me .due to those medicine I face dehydration and dry eyes and I have to work on computer around 14 hours a day. I am a freelancer. I have to use eye droops every hour.in past I was using every (sodium hyaluronate (0.1% w/v) preservative free) but it discontinued in india .so my doctor said use cystone ultra it has self dissolving preservative. I want to know using cystone ultra 14 times in a days will have any side effects on my eyes or is it completely safe?

There are some studies, according to which betadine mouthwash can be effective in limiting the spread of sars cov 2. But if you are allergic to iodine solution then don't use it. Warm saline mouthwash 3/4 times daily you can use. Thanks.

Hello everyone. I'm actually suffering with dry mouth from so many months now. I'm actually done with diabetes test, vitamin c tablets, electrolyte test, intravenous fluids. Nothing worked and fine with diabetes and electrolyte test. My doctor suggested me Betadine povidone iodine 2% gargle mouth wash. Please tell me how to use it. Can I use it night after brushing my teeth? Will it wear my teeth if I brushed 30 minutes later after using it?

Hello! I am 27 years, before 8 or 9 days ago I gargled by viodin mouthwash directly without mixing any water on it which contains (povidone iodine 1%) by mistakenly I just swallowed it while gargling, it was ok on first day but on the next I went for an exercises such as =squad, push ups. But I felt weak. Since that day I just felt little bit discomfort on my chest and lower back and kidney side I felt like something is pinching in my kidneys. N whenever I took deep breath that tym I felt discomfort in chest and kidneys. Lower back pain, I felt so fatigue and stress was not getting a strength at all. Now I am ok but sometimes I felt like something is wrong inside me. But I went to doctor day before yesterday and told everything he said it's ok it will not harm you because it's only 1%.the day when I swallowed it I didn't drink enough water. I just started drinking water from the 4 or 5 day of the incident. But I just want to know that, will there be any problem due exercises after I drank povidone iodine 1%.

for now please relax, take lots of warm fluids, preferably black tea or green tea
monitor urine output
if you feel any discomfort in chest or lower back or lower abdomen, please visit nearest hospital.

A day before yesterday, I had a major infection in my right eye and consulted an eye doctor. He prescribed some medication saying I had some kind of viral infection. Today most of the pain and redness of the eye is gone. But, I still have that 50% blurriness in my right eye. I can't see objects properly with my right eye. I am 37 year old male and have been facing seborrheic dermatitis issue from past many years. I am using protar k shampoo and also apply tacrolimus solution 0.1 w/v. My nose, beard, ears, and forehead are also affected due to dermatitis. I also have severe hair fall due to this as I have to scratch my scalp while shampooing in order to get this white sticky stuff out of my hair. I have also had isotretinoin 10 mg at multiple occasions to control sebum production but no relief. I have almost used all shampoos (coal tar, ketoconazole) and solutions in market but I am not getting any relief from it. The sticky white discharge does not go away. My scalp is also itchy all the time.
