Asked for male, 44 years old from Shillong

Doctor sir, I have some kind of an infection on the inside of my penis on the inside of the foreskin of my penis 5 or 6 days ago. Skin becomes reddish in colour, its itchy and there seems to be inflammation of the skin. I applied betamethasone dipropionate clotrimazole and neomycin but it made the infection worse. I applied povidone iodine ointment but its very painful and it's not helping,

balanitis is an inflammation of the glans penis (head of the penis); it is fairly common and affects approximately 3-11% of males during their lifetime. Posthitis is an inflammation of the foreskin (prepuce). Balanoposthitis involves both the glans and the foreskin and occurs in approximately 6% of uncircumcised males.

Hello! I am 27 years, before 8 or 9 days ago I gargled by viodin mouthwash directly without mixing any water on it which contains (povidone iodine 1%) by mistakenly I just swallowed it while gargling, it was ok on first day but on the next I went for an exercises such as =squad, push ups. But I felt weak. Since that day I just felt little bit discomfort on my chest and lower back and kidney side I felt like something is pinching in my kidneys. N whenever I took deep breath that tym I felt discomfort in chest and kidneys. Lower back pain, I felt so fatigue and stress was not getting a strength at all. Now I am ok but sometimes I felt like something is wrong inside me. But I went to doctor day before yesterday and told everything he said it's ok it will not harm you because it's only 1%.the day when I swallowed it I didn't drink enough water. I just started drinking water from the 4 or 5 day of the incident. But I just want to know that, will there be any problem due exercises after I drank povidone iodine 1%.

depends on how much infection do u have. if u refrain from taking oral tabs, u can take pessaries alongwith ointments.

Hi doctor, my age is 35, I have 5 years old kid, now we plan for second kid, and I visited to dentist 7 days back for clip fitting. Due to corona pandemic dentist gave me betadine solution (i.e. betadine standardised microbicidal solution 10%, povidone - iodine solution ip 10% w/v) for kept it in mouth for 2 minutes and after 2 minutes threw it out from mouth than dentist fitted the clip and after clip fitting I sat for 10 minutes with cotton in my mouth and spit which comes that I swallow, so my question is this is there chance that betadine solution go in my body? Or is it harmful for conceiving baby? Please advice. Thanks.

Hi, betadine goes into stomach and intestines.
Your ovulation from ovary happens in pelvic cavity and it goes inside uterus. Intestines abd uterus are not connected.
It will not affect. But this is a very good question. All the best.

Sir I am suffering from annul fissure from 2 years at 11 'o clock position of the rectum. Some times it is bleeding when stool become harder. I have to take almost regular lactulose solution to keep soft my stool. I regularly use Sucral Anno cream and Diltiazem gel before bowl movement and after having sits bath with worm water adding povidone iodine solution. But have their any side effect to use those drugs? And I know as soon as I stop using them my stool become harder and its started bleeding. How can I get rid off from these? I am 27 years old man. Please help Sir.

Hi, drez ointment can be applied 2 times a day on open wounds. It cannot be used for vaginal candidiasis infection. You can use Candid V3 vaginal tablets for 3 nights for vaginal candidiasis.
