Hello Akshay. As per your history it appears that you are having a deviated nasal septum as a cause of persistent nasal obstruction. Since you are also having allergic rhinitis , coexisting sinus pathology and other nasal conditions should be ruled out (and treated ,) by clinical history , examination and appropriate radiological examination , before going for surgery. Constant mouth breathing leads to dryness of the throat and also predisposes an individual to recurrent throat infections.
