Reap DSR is not antibiotic. It is having antacid action reducing acid secretion in your stomach. If your symptoms are relieved, it is ok. But it is always better to take any medicine only under expert advice after consulting a doctor at least in the future.

Dear ,
if you do have duodenal ulcers then the medications are ok.
But you need not take all of them.
Just take cyra d once a day for 4 weeks.
If it does not resolve then you may be put on an anti h pylori regimen.
H, pylori is the bacteria most responsible for causing ulcers.

Whatever medicines your taking for GERD/ acidity, none of it will work in GERD. Sucral is for peptic ulcers. And to be taken before meals, not after meals. U can use lactifiber in place for softovac and that too at night time.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details, in which there is no mention of how is your blood glucose controlled. Sometimes if blood glucose is not wll controlled, there is a chance of loosing weight and developing signs of general weakness. The medicine mentioned (cyproheptadine) is actually an antihistamine. Appetite stumlation is a side-effect of that drug. It is not supposed to be taken for that at all. Plus it will produce fair amount of drowsiness. Thanks.
