Thank you for your enquiry.
That's ok. But your information is incomplete. Also you didn't mention your current blood sugars after changing medication.
Additionally I would like to advise you to do serum insulin and c peptide level for better understanding of your condition and so that I can advise you better. Do let me know more details.
For any further information or advice you can book an online consultation with me on Lybrate. Thank you. Take care.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The iformation given is very little to give any opinion. I need to know full details like fasting, PP & HbA1c%, dietary pattern extent of daily exercise, total medications being taken with exact dosage. Plus please clarify in your "medical conditions" there is a mention as T1 diabetes. If that is the case then how is that you are on Diamicron? Because T1 DM is only treated with Insulin Injection. No other anti diabetic drugs is used. Thanks.

Nice to see your blood sugars are well controlled. You need not increase the dose, as it can lead to hypoglycemia which can be very dangerous at times
unfortunately diabetes is a progressive disease and over a period of time you may have to increase the dosages as insulin secretion declines and blood sugar starts increasing.
