Your blood sugar control is good. Can get hba1c done for confirming how well is sugar controlled. Stopping night dose might increase blood sugar. Can be tried gradually. Contact your treating doctor in person.

Your fasting is well controlled but pp is slightly higher advice you to switch medicines that's take diamicron in the morning before breakfast and vildapride 50/1000 after dinner as metformin (1000) if taken once a day it is better take either with or just after meals
continue brisk walking (.about 120 steps per minute) for 45 minutes a day for atlest 5 days a week and there should not be a gap of more than 48 hours in between exercise days.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. The FBG & PP glucose levels look quite good. Even the HbA1c% is too is quite good. So it appears your current treatment (drugs) and the lifestyle being adapted are helping you to remain well controlled. Minor variations in any of those values is not much of a botheration. Please continue to follow the current lifestyle and the same treatment. Being lean is absolutely no issue at all. If you have any questions please do come back...more

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, I note that your fasting blood sugar is under better control after you changed your medication. However your post meal blood sugar is on the high side and I note that your weight is only 60 kg which is a bit low for your height. Check with your family doctor about the need to take insulin for improving diabetes control and to gain weight to optimal body weight
