Dexona is steroid, which has many side-effects and has to be stopped. Practin can be used for a short duration and not years together.

You should never self prescribe! it is very important to reach out to the doctor, explain the symptoms and let doctor make the right assessment.

Yes they are steroids and yes they have harmful effects.. but in this condition to develop the babies fast enough it might have been prescribed....
My advise is to trust your doctor... but if you have doubts then consult another gynecologist with all your case details...

Hi lybrate-user. The injection will be good for your babies lungs, betamethasone is better, but depending on your gynaecologist, even dexamethasone is also effective. I don't know the details of your pregnancy, but with twins, inj will be more likely to be helpful than harmful. Hope you are not diabetic. All the best.

U should not. U can try this -
1. 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). Or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories.
3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfa...more
