Dear Arun,
There is nothing like right combination or the best medicine for OCD. Whatever relieves you of your symptoms are the best medicines. It differs from person to person. Please follow your doctor's advice. She/he has added amisulpride after assessing less improvement with other tablets.

Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you are going through these problems. It would be helpful if you could elaborate on the neurological problems and what exactly happens if you reduce the dose. The medicines prescribed do not usually cause any major neurological problems. But if you desire to adjust the doses, I suggest you consult a psychiatrist as soon as possible.

Hello lybrate-user, nexitoplus contains 5 mg of escitalopram and 0.5 mg of clonazepam. When you use any tablet containing clonazepam for more than two weeks you may get withdrawal symptoms and these withdrawal symptoms almost mimic like anxiety symptoms. Hence I advise you to separately take nexito 5 mg and clonazepam 0.25 mg which is a half of the dose which you had taken earlier. And you can stop clonazepam 0.25 mg after two weeks.

Dear lybrate-user,
rexipra 10 mg is escitalopram 10 mg. It is available. The same medicine in different brand names are also available freely in the market. But it is better to consult your psychiatrist regularly and adjust the dose or to stop it. It may not be a tablet for your whole life.

Its better to avoid medications at this young age.
1. Avoid caffeine found in coffee, tea, chocolate, cola, and some pain relievers.[four to six hours before bedtime.]
2. Quiet, dark, and cool environment can help promote sound sleep..[Use heavy curtains, or an eye mask to block light, and also keeping computers, TVs, and other work materials out of the room will help promote mental bonding between your bedroom and sleep]
3. Avoid stressful, stimulating activities like doing work, disc...more

Yes nexito plus can be taken for long term. But if you are asymptomatic on medicine since long a trial to reduce medicine can be given but again your primary care giving doctor will be best judge as he/she knows your illness well.
