Dear lybrate-user,
you can try desmopressin nasal spray instead of minirin tablets if the tablets are making you uneasy and sleepy. The nasal spray works as well as the tablets

I am sorry to hear about your concern, but will be happy to assist you.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

Mr. lybrate-user, By now you must be aware about the condition, diabetes insipidus. It is a hormone (ADH) deficiency disorder. Since there is no hormone being produced by hypothalamus, it has to be daily supplemented and that too for lifetime. There is no other option. Thanks.

Headache, nausea, upset stomach, or flushing of the face may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Desmopressin can infrequently cause a low level of sodium in the blood, which can be serious and possibly life-threatening.

Hello, thanks for the query.
With multiple morbidities it very essential to take the vaccine as without that one is more vulnerable to the infection. Plus the severity can be more. So please go ahead and take the doses. Thanks.

As you have much relief with desmopressin continue it. Little bit of sleepiness will disappear after some time.

Post void urine of less than 50 cc means your bladder is evacuated normally after urination and there is no excess residual urine in bladder. So it is normal.
