Make necessary dietary changes and combine it with 45 min walk and you can easily shed weight. Focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to complex ones only. Avoid simple sugars completely. 'Eat Out' less and have good quantity of fresh foods (Fruits, Vegetables) which are not processed. Have plenty of water and sleep well. You can take flax seeds in raw form after meals mixed with saunf or you can add them over salads. Make sure you drink a lot of water as seeds have a lot of fibre which needs water for digestion or they may cause bloating.

You should take egg or non veg diet. Fruits n vegetable are less vit b12.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is difficult give a clear answer whether a SGLT - 2 Inhibitor can be added to existing therapy withput knowing full details of the case. I need to know the following: Fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, serum creatinine & urea levels, eGFR and whethe there is microalbuminura. If kidney function is compromised or eGFR is low, then certain drugs can not be sude including metformin and SGLT-2 Inhibitors. Thanks.
