Dear lybrate-user,
I would suggest you to apply hot water bag to the swollen and painful joints, If small joints like hand and foots are involved then Do hot water fermentation over joints and do mobility exercises for all joints. It will help you to improve your condition.

Hello. Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto immune disease (it's a disease where your antibodies are acting against your own body causing harm). It needs constant evaluation and adjusting the doses to suppress the pain. It cannot be treated with one magic drug, you need to consult a rheumatologist get your blood checked regularly and followup with rheumatologist. Please do not ignore and consult ASAP.

Rheumatoid factor (ra factor) is not a diagnostic investigation of rheumatoid arthritis rather it has some prognostic importance. It might be increased in a normal person who doesn't have any signs & symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It's very essential to know your symptoms before commenting to your medicines prescribed. It's better to consult a rheumatologist.
