Hi!
usually, scabies is a skin disease which takes a longer time to get under control at least for 2 weeks. Continue a proper course to get relief .wash all your clothes ,bed linen in hot water and dry up in hot sun for better control. Use moisturising cream like nivea or simple coconut oil twice daily to prevent dryness.

First of the way you have applied permethrin is important as wrong application is one of the most common causes of no improvement.
Secondly, your family and close contacts require treatment which is mandatory for complete cure.
Thirdly, you need to continue antihistamines for atleast a month for complete subsidence of itching.
Lastly, I can't be sure if you are suffering from scabies unless I see the images of the affected part.
Hope that helps.

Good morning. Scabies treatment involves 2 treatment courses of cream/medication usually separated by a week. It must be applied correctly as prescribed and simultaneously among all members living together along with other general measures regarding cleaning/isolation of clothing and surroundings. Treatment outcome is assessed only after the 2nd cycle by the treating dermatologist.
