Hello I was suffering from anal fissure about 6 months ago it healed. But recently after I had a hard bm it started again I was in so much intense pain I am applying diltiazem 3 times a day it appears to be healing as I have a terrible itch. I am keeping my diet as follows Morning: oats with milk and fruits After noon: rice sambar curd Night: curd rice with salad 2 teaspoons of dufalac Will the fissure heal itself if so how many days will it approximately take Should I continue the diet lifelong Is there a permanent cure When can I eat meat and spicy foods.

you should continue medicine for 6months if it doesn't heal then surgery is needed, spicy food may give burning sensation, keep stool soft it is must.

So I did holter monitor and it shows sinus tachycardia. When I eat medicines I'm fine for few hrs then tachycardia starts again and again. Highest was 147 and many times it was 120+. I have done all tests for secondary cause. I'm 23 now I'm taking metoprolol 125 mg, 50 mrng 50 night and 25 in eve, amlodipine 10 mg, losartan 50, prazosin 5 mg, diltiazem 90sr and so on .I have high BP and tachycardia since 2012 but now situation got worsen any guidance will be helpful. I'm going to see my cardiologist on Monday but some doctors online suggested electrophysiological study also. Please give you guidance.

Dear lybrate-user. BP seems to be on higher side occasional. Reason of tachycardia can be due to thyroid or anxiety as well. Your BMI is high as per your age. You need to see your lifestyle. May be your lifestyle is sedentary and unhealthy diet. So if this is the reason improve your lifestyle.

I have high BP and tachycardia since 2012. Every test has been and nothing is working out. Specially for tachycardia whenever I take medicines initially it is effective then after days it doesn't have any effect. Currently taking metoprolol 150 mg (50 mg thrice, ntp 25 mg ,prazosin 5 mg, diltiazem 90 Sr, cilnidipine 10 mg ,losartan 50 and etc. Though my BP is under control but tachycardia still happens specially as the medicine time comes. Did my holter and it showed sinus tachycardia only. Done all tests for endocrinologist related. Please help me and if possible suggest me some good doctor in Mumbai so I can start the treatment. I don't have anxiety or stress for sure as I'm happy go person.

Dear Doctor, I am a Ph. D. Research scholar. Complaining mild chest pain I was admitted to ICU with a positive Trop I test. Later the CT-Angiogram report stated that "Focal myocardial bridging" was the only culprit and I was prescribed Aspirin 75 mg along with Diltiazem. I continued with these medicines but B.P was at a higher side (> 140/110 mm Hg). With the complaint of elevated BP, I visited another doctor and he prescribed LN Beta 2.5. But still, my diastolic pressure approaches 105 mmHg while systolic pressure is quite normal. Please suggest me what to do?

My father Is COPD patient and had BP since 15 years he used telmisartan 40 mgOD and the BP is In control usually 140/90 Recently He checkup in KIMS Cardiologist advice 2D echo but the report is normal but last year he took Angiogram of Heart The report is saying 20% block in minor vessel that's not to cause any harmful he took 3 months medication of Atorvastatin and Ecosprin. My doubt is this time the doctor put 3 types of antihypertensive like clonidine 5 mg diltiazem 120 mg and Telmisartan 80 mg + chlorthalidone 12.5 mg This many types of drugs Needed to My Father? If recent angiogram shows only 20% obstruction and clinical significant complaints then repeat angiogram is not required. If BP is 140/90 with telmisartan then increasing BP medicine is not needed.

What does it mean when you have fatty liver stage 2? 6 year back I had fatty liver only. I'm already high BP ,severe insulin resistance ,and tachycardia patient and I'm on lots of betablockers and calcium channel blockers. My weight is under control since 2015. I take metoprolol 150 mg (50 mg thrice a day, diltiazem 90, cilnidipine 10 mg, prazosin 5 mg, losartan50, metformin 1000 mg (twice a day) ,ntp 25 and one more I forgot the name. I think my medicines are causing. But now my BP is under control else it used to be 180/120 always. I even did 24 hr ecg where my tachycardia was always 150 around at rest. And it showed sinus tachycardia only. My all test for thyroid, endocrine related are done.

Sir I am suffering from annul fissure from 2 years at 11 'o clock position of the rectum. Some times it is bleeding when stool become harder. I have to take almost regular lactulose solution to keep soft my stool. I regularly use Sucral Anno cream and Diltiazem gel before bowl movement and after having sits bath with worm water adding povidone iodine solution. But have their any side effect to use those drugs? And I know as soon as I stop using them my stool become harder and its started bleeding. How can I get rid off from these? I am 27 years old man. Please help Sir.

I was suffering from anal fissure (first time in my life) from a week now. I immediately started taking medicines such as daflon 500 mg (decreases blood viscosity) and having (contains acetoflanac and paracetamol). I also applied diltiazem organogel (calcium channel blocker) on anus. After few days I got very much relief and also bleeding stopped. But the area of anus swelled where fissure was present. Every time I go to pass stool the area inflamates and goes back to normal when pressure is released. It doesn't contain puss also there is no pain. I doesn't know what is the cause of inflammation and how to get it cured.

The swelling you are describing is likely to be due to venous congestion of the part i.e. Blood remains in the area accumulated for some time. You are likely to have haemorrhoids as well along with the fissure. Please get your self re-examined by your surgeon.

Dr. I am having chronic anal fissure, I take caflam, cycin when ever I feel pain. But I want permanent cure of this disease, sometimes I feel nothing and some time I feel burning sensation, itching and pain after bowel movement. I take stool softener churna at bedtime every night for soft stool. But some times it works sometimes it does not work. I take fluids and juices. Applying diltiazem ointment with anusol cream. Milk makes me constipated as well as isabgul. How to make stool soft every morning without churna, duphalac and cremaffin syrup doesn't work in my body.

You can add tablet prusent 1mg bedtime to ease your constipation.. keep applying diltiazem cream.. regards
