Hello sir.
In the beginning you will have some side effects of the medication you are having and over the time period you may start tolerating the meds. The govt Dr. has given you the therapy that is given as per government's protocols, though new regimes are now in the who's latest protocols. Please see, since it is a life long therapy it is better to discuss your symptoms with your treating doctor. Thanks.

The antibiotic trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and the H2-blocker cimetidine are 2 commonly used drugs that decrease the secretion of creatinine. This can result in a self-limited and reversible increase in the serum creatinine level of as much as 0.4 to 0.5 mg/dL (depending on baseline serum creatinine level).
