Complete the course of medicine prescribed by doctor. Start warm saline gargle regularly at least three times daily. Have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection.

You need to be properly assessed to offer the correct treatment. It would be best you talk to a good ent surgeon who can ask the relevant questions to make a correct diagnosis and give you the correct treatment. From what symptoms you mention, it does not sound serious and can be easily managed. Simply taking antibiotics such as azithromycin will not help and instead you possibly can have unnecessary side effects
