Hello-
Its best to restore your Zinc level by diet and not by supplement as supplementation has a short term action and will make you suffer again once you left consuming it.
The best, common plant sources of zinc are legumes, nuts, seeds, and oatmeal, so its better to go for Zinc replacement by natural methods.

Dear lybrate-user
increased zinc in blood can be due to high consumption or increased exposure. If you have been taking too many supplements, do stop/switch to a non -zinc supplement.
Sometimes some medicines may also cause an increase. Please inform if you are having any medicines.
Take care.

It also helps in controlling free radical production and therefore has anti-inflammatory effects in reversing heart disease and fighting cancer.
