Once you complete the regimen you will be alright. Some b'complex must be added and for your sex,, have balanced diet, regular sleep and light exercises along with kegel exercises and avoiding addictions if any must suffice. Keep a close watch on these 4 things, even if you insist medicines can be prescribed after a counseling session. Regards.

It is important to have good nutrition when you are having tuberculosis. Your body needs good nourishment to heal. High protein diet of 1 mg/kg of body weight is recommended unless you have some other ailment that requires restrictions on protein. At least 2litres of water intake is advisable. Your water intake will not affect your pleural effusion. Water restrictions needed if you have heart or kidney issues.

If you have already taken 6 months of these medicines you have taken an adequate duration. Further doses is sometimes given by doctor so that pt does not get tb again in future, so if you have taken 6 months medicines correctly then no need to fear about developing mdr tb and can continue your treatment, till completion with checking in between with sputum tests for monitoring the condition of the disease.
