The combination of medication with therapy will definitely help in recovering from this condition and eventually stopping the medication. Dear lybrate-user, clonazepam is habit forming and over time it starts to lose its efficacy. Meaning, in the beginning, a 0.25 mg dose would put you to sleep, over a period of time, you will find difficulty sleeping at same dose. Now that you have completed 3 years with clonazepam, I would suggest you to try to find an alternative before stopping it. There are several herbal medicines available that help in sleep management. You may consult me for that.

Hello lybrate-user
insert is antidepressant, and there are studies shows that people under treatment with insert may have mild but noticeable increase in weight over long term. This is can be effectively managed by yoga/ exercise amd dierty control.

Zapiz is plain clonazepam, petrol beta is clonazepam plus inderal a beta blocker. Both relive anxiety symptoms but don't address the cause. You need medications of ssri or snri group, which improve the serotonin levels in your mind (brain) and relive anxiety on a longer run. So better consult a psychiatrist for proper treatment. Good luck.

Dear lybrate-user
Thank you for connecting on this platform. Clonazepam is an SOS medicine after stability of transitory high intensity symptoms. And no, withdrawal does not cause death. My statement of No would act as temporary reassurance to you because Health anxiety is basically catastrophizing the least probable as most probable situation which requires mild medicine dosage but effective psychotherapy sessions. I hope you doing that, if not please get in touch with us and would be glad ...more
