Tab clonafit may cause dependence if taken for long period and that is the reason it becomes difficult to stop it suddenly. You need to taper down the doses slowly (25% every fortnightly) and see if it works for you, if it doesn't help you, you need to consult a psychiatrist personally who can guide you about alternate ways to withdraw clonafit based on your condition. All the best.

The most effective solution for dealing with anxiety for me personally was waking up early. I am not a morning person but once I tried this, I was surprised how good this made me feel. It helped me find peace and calm myself down. Having so much time in my hand I could do small things that made me happy and I felt a sense of accomplishment just by waking up early. I feel the most anxious during the night- so sleeping early really helped me tackle it to a great extent.

Dear Varun,
If you can think repeatedly that your ecg and 2D echo (no heart attack) is normal, you don't require clonafit at all. Palpitations will come and go by itself. Clonafit may not damage your brain - but it will make you take it for small fear. Many fears you can learn to deal in non medical way, if you don't take clonafit.

As you said you are having severe depression, it takes time for the depression to heal. Medicines are good treatment for depression but they do have side effects depending on various factors. Being under depression makes us hopeless a...more
