Clofranil dose of 25 mg is very low dose. Depression worsens over time if not treated adequately so medicine don't worsen it, its the depression worsening which is not adequately treated. They are safe to combine, but clofranil is given for obsessive thoughts and not for panic. If they are given by a psychiatrist, do tke them. Else get another opinion. Good luck.
