Sir/madam, I have been suffering from fungal infection at my thighs area from 5 months. I am using CLOCIP-B (clotrimazole). When I applied it, within 3, 4 days I get relief from itching and redness. After 1 week it is affection again. This process is going on from the starting, I didn't get full relief from that, because the thighs area is sweating area and my body is very heat body. (I think, the reason behind this is, I have been suffering from bladder infection from 1 year, so I consulted the UROLOGIST, he gave me some tablets. Due to that over dosage of tablets I guess, I got this fungal infection.) So please please prescribe me a full effective cream or powder.

Stop applying Clocip B. Fungal infection is not due to overdosage of tablets. You need to consult a dermatologist and take proper treatment for same.

For infection doctor given me the AF- kit, itraconazole gel 1.0%w/w and clindamycin phosphate and clotrimazole soft gelatin vaginal capsules is given to follow, capsules and AF-kit course completed then also there is no stopping of white bleeding but no itching what can I do.

your age and marital status is not given, if married the treatment need to be taken by your husband also or else avoid intercourse. if no itching means infection is contained. depending on the need some of the medicines need to be taken for some more days. maintain perfect cleanliness of the genitals and keep them dry by wiping with cloth even after passing urine. good luck

Early 30s man, persistent itching testicles, ever since I moved to a high humid tropical country. I am always sweaty and itchy have tried otc canesten clotrimazole cream, apple cider, it goes away and comes back. I haven't had sores or discharge just the persistent itchiness. Help.

Hi doctors! so, for vaginal yeast infection, i've been using canesten clotrimazole 1% vaginal cream and clotrimaderm clotrimazole 1% cream. By the day I started the treatment, my itching and burning were already gone, discharge was there, and it would itch only when touched. It's day 3, and I have no symptoms of the infection now. The vaginal cream reads apply for 6 days, and the itching cream says to use on the affected area only. So, my question is, should I stop using these creams now since there are no symptoms anymore?

continue it for 1 week and then stop,
use cotton panties and maintain hygeine.
avoid using soap as it decreases ph and if there is any recurrence get your blood sugar done

Do not take nuforce, as it's not recommended in pregnancy. Rather go for high vaginal swab culture, let the infection be diagnosed and then treated accordingly. Some amount of discharge in preganacy is normal.

Take benadryl in evening.
Apply clotrimazole cream twice a day topically.
Sprinkle clotrimazole powder twice a day.
Keep dry n clean.
Avoid sweat,hot humid.
Wear cotton under garments
If you find any problem ask again.

I am actually suffering from ringworm after my c section I don’t know from where I got this it’s been 2.5 months using terbest cream n clocip powder initially its started work but after that its stopped so I talk to my doc she told me due to breastfeeding I cannot take oral medicine so after one week when it’s not decreasing I insists her to give me oral med because I was so scared about my child my rash was 4-5 cm kind she told me too took itraconazole 200 mg capsule once in a day for one week now it works n my ringworm was gone but after 15 days again I got bad itching on that area m again it’s started m fed up. Please let me know how to treat this thing by root. N how to clean clothes n belongings n rooms n all. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
please stay in touch with your dermatologist because fungal infection is not responding easily and you might have to take longer treatment because your infection is relapsing easily.

64 year old male. Have foot pain problem very severe. Used to apply combination of pain relief sprays namelyrelispray nitron, volini max and omnigel double power spray. Have applied these sprays very frequently multiple times in a day and couldn't wash off also. Now have developed some infection on foot and yesterday had some pus also. I applied betadine ointment, after that rubbed with betadine lotion and wiped with cotton swapped dipped into savlon diluted water then dusted with clocip dusting powder. Today, the pus discharge is removed, but have irritated and inflamed skin. Now also redness and bit swollen on that area due to rubbing with towel. Please tell some remedy. Really worried about this. I am male 48 years old diabetic from past 13 years. I have control on it and it never goes beyond 200. From past one year I am suffering from skin infection (in the foot) in both legs - between toes (small toe). I have been advised by my doctor to use canesten dermatological powder in the morning + candid clotrimazole drops in the night. But the infection is reoccurring i. e, I am not getting rid of it. I'm 22 years old and suffering from this fungal and yeast infection around my neck and the back portion. Even I get rashes every time I go outside in sunlight. Sometimes it even itches me. Last year i've consulted one of the Dr. Where he gave me ketoconazole lotion which I had to apply daily and sit in the sunlight for about half an hour. But this year again the disease relapsed. So I consulted other dermatologist. Where he gave me oxiconazole lotion which I have to apply every night. A medicine which I probably don't remember its name and a clotrimazole dusting powder named czson. Now my issue is that I don't want my disease to suppress it where again it will relapsed during the next year. I want to remove it completely from my body. Because my doctor advises me to visit every year and I think that it is an irrelevant reply. I even tried ayurveda but nothing worked. What diet should I prefer strictly to remove this disease completely from my body and any other medications if needed. I'm taking my infections very seriously as it is just going on increasing.
