Dear Lybrate user,
Amixide contains two drugs - Amitriptyline 25 MG+Chlordiazepoxide 5 MG. Both are available as separate tablets in different brand names. It is better that you consult the doctor before buying more medicines. May be Amitriptyline will be used for 6-9 months and Chlordiazepoxide will be used for 2-3 weeks. They are not lifelong medications. You can find other ways of getting rid of your problems in the meanwhile.

if you are taking librax then you should not take alzolam, it will cause more dizziness and other side effects.
I know you take alzolam for sleep
but librax has chlordiazepoxide which also helps in sleep
so you no need to take alzolam when taking librax I hope you find it helpful
if you need any more help, I will be glad to help you sir.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Your thyroid hormone levels are within normal limits. So there is no need to change anything. Anticholinergic and antispasmodic medications. These medications, such as hyoscyamine (Levsin) and dicyclomine (Bentyl), can help relieve painful bowel spasms. They are sometimes used for people who have bouts of diarrhea, but they can worsen constipation and can lead to other symptoms, such as difficulty urinating.

Abdomen pain in young age could be due to dyspepsia, colicky abdomen pain, but some time it could be due to intestinal infection and biliary disease for symptomatic relief anti-spasmodic can be used, and best would be" dicyclomine" but underlying cause is must to find out.
