Male 47 My ankles and foot are getting swelled, since last one week. This is more noticeable during early morning. I am under following medication, is this a medicine side effect. nebivolol 2.5 mg morning & night Thyronorm 50 morning Cilnidipine 10 mg morning & night Telmisartan 40 night Rosuvastatin 10 mg night Creatine isc1. 01 Uric acid is 7.9 but no gout symptoms. Does any of these medicines cause swelling. Any other evaluation required.

My mother is suffering from diabetes and bp from 3 months she is having vomiting sensation and also vomiting while having food. Her bp level is 115/78. Sugar level is 175 mg/dl. Hba1c 7.4% medications are 1. Vildanat m 500 metformin (500 mg)+ vildagliptin (50 mg). 1-0-1 2. Remo zen (remogliflozin etabonate 100 mg) ½-0-½ 3. Olmin trio (olmesartan medoxomil (20 mg)+ cilnidipine (10 mg)+ chlorthalidone (12. 5 mg). 1-0-1 4. Omez dsr 1-0-1. Please tell me what is her problem.

Bp 175/90 after taking following medicine sugar is in control (taking insulin novorapid 18 units three times) medicine as 1.moxinidine 0.3 (morning-evening) 2.cilnidipine 10 mg (morning- afternoon-evening) 3. Respected sir/ madam my mother has bp and she is taking cilnidipine 5 mg tablet every day. We monitor her bp everyday with bp monitoring machine. I checked in some websites that normal range bp is systolic 90 to 120 and dialostic 60 to 80. Should she continue taking medicine if the bp readings are in between these values? Should she take medicine if systolic is less than 90 and dialostic is in-between 60 and 80? Should she take medicine if systolic is in between 90 and 120 and dialostic is less than 60? Thank you.

Sir, I am suffering from high bp since 35. Yrs at present my age is 63, pure vegetarian even didn't take egg, no drinking, no smoking. No bad habits. .in 2014 year I had severe giddiness with like vertigo head is revolving like clock & hospitalized treated with stugeron forte, diligon, vertin, stablanz-pv, tablets, after 10 days discharged with a prescription of same medicine, after two months the tablets for giddiness were stopped. As per the neuro physician advice, telma80 mg, morning and in the night cinod. 20 mg, at present my bp is 145/86, I am continuing with this two tablets since five years, besides this I am suffering from gouty arthritis and dvt, since 5 years, for which medicines such as acitrom 2 mg & 1 mg. For alternate days according to pt & inr. Reports. For gouty, febuxoget 40 mg. And dolonex. Dt. Regularly. Since 5 years. I am suffering very weak and nervousness,(fatigue) and severe muscle cramps, for which doctor prescribed re nerve plus inj. For monthly and ucalamin tablets daily one, no heart problem and diabetes, and no other complications. But I am having very nervousness, muscle cramps, breathlessness, even after using renerve plus inj and ucalamin tablets, only two or three days feeling better after taking injection, after that same fatigue, breathing problem and nervousness occurring with backache, and when bending towards down, feeling breathless fatigue, even though lungs and heart is normal in cardiologist examination, Recently I had suffered edema, swelling, could say, whole body retention of water, gaining suddenly weight gaining. Currently, most likely you are having a fissure in ano and most of your other treatment is going well, except for hemorrhoids. I would suggest you to visit a nearby general surgeon for further needful treatment instead of self medication with potentially dangerous medicines like deflazacort and ultracet (i presume you haven't consulted a general surgeon yet).

I am 67 years old male. I was having B.P since 2000. I was a regular smoker till 2015. occasional drunker also 90 ml per day (20 days a month). Till 2005 I took Amtas 2.5 mg one tab in the morning. From 2006 the dose increased to 5 mg. Till 2012 was not worried about B.P it was 130-136/80-86. In 2012 I check up my health but everything was OK. In 2014 again I check up heart specialist put another medicine extra Telza-20 in evening. My creatinine was 0.8. Till 2015 July the B.P was 140-146/ 90-96. But in August '15 one day evening suddenly the B.P went up to 180/110. Immediately I took Depin 5. B.P came down. Next day I consulted Doctor. The tests were done. Almost all are with in limit except for B.P which was 150/96 and Creatinine was 1.4. By the grace of God I donate have any sugar problem till now. Then Doctor changed the medicine and prescribe TezyAM 40 one tab in the morning. But occasionally after 10-15 days the B.P becomes abnormal 170/100. So, I again checked up with another Heart specialist in February 2016. He advised for angiography which showed that there is one 60% blockade. He prescribed medicine. This time creatinine was 1.7. Doctor did not gave much importance. I consulted one Nephrologist, who changed the medicine prescribed Nexovas O 40 two tabs a day and Telvas Beta 50 one tab & Stator ASP 75 one tab along with Renolog which I am continuing now with controlled diet. Mu B.P now is 116-136/76-86 during the entire day and the creatinine is 1.8. My diet problem is for B.P I need K++, Protein etc. But for Kidney it is harmful. Normally I have noticed that food which are good for B.P are bad for Kidney. How can you help me for curing my problems.

My father is suffering from HBP, diabetes type 2 and CKD 5 (Non-dialysis). Recently he has been diagnosed with COPD and iron deficiency anemia. He is 73 year old. From last week, every morning, his right eye is getting swollen and gets watery, and by the day end swelling goes away. Before that only his feet were getting swollen at end of the day. Hello sir, My dad is 64 years old. He suffers from type 2 diabetes and hypertension. He takes Olmax LN 40 containing olmesartan 40 mg and cilnidipine 10 mg for HTN. He also takes an antiplatelet drug Clopilet A 75 (containing Aspirin 75 mg and Clopidogrel 75 mg) and a statin Lipigo 5 mg (containing rosuvastatin 5 mg). 1.Can he take omega 3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA 500 mg daily? Omega 3 fatty acids have been found to be very useful in reducing synthesis of prostaglandin series 2 molecules and thus are anti inflammatory. Thus is also good for cardiovascular and joint health. The American Heart Association (AHA) also recommends consumption of upto 1000 mg of EPA+DHA for heart health daily.
