Start walking daily for 40-45 minutes. Drink a lot of water. Cut down on intake of salty or fried food. Junk food and processed foods should be avoided. One should take raw vegetables and fruits daily. Yoga and pranayamas are very effective in bringing blood pressure levels to normal.
For maintaining bp to normal homoeopathic treatment plays best role. No side effects.

Yes she should change medicine. For alternative purpose she should consult her treating physician. You can consult me through Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment and further guidance.

Dear lybrate-user ji
I must congratulate you on the patience and perseverance that you and your family have shown to your grandfather. The medicines will continue since he is predisposed to stroke. I would request you to have a consultation with your treating doctor and ask for his advice. That would be better.

If your bp is controlled and your general health is normal, you may not need any treatment. You need to be in regular follow-up checkup.

The medicine is only "controlling" bp and by withdrawing the medicine, bp will raise gradually. Any change of dosage has to be done under supervision of your physician.
