Dear lybrate-user
life expectancy will depend on her symptoms and adherence to medication. Also, her general health and any other health related disorders she is suffering from will affect the prognosis. Stay calm and follow the doctors advise .speak to your cardiologist about any concerns, as he will have examined your mother and is the best person to answer your question.

Hello lybrate-user.
It should not be prescribed.
As it will increase more problems.
If kidneys are already malfunctioning.
Homoeopathic treatment is better which improves kidney and heart health first.

Hello Ravinagarkar.
There is a reason to give it in divided doses. As it can affect your excretory system and also it may not be long acting.
My suggestion is to take proper homoeopathic treatment side by side.
If everything goes right we can reduce half of the medicines and also can improve the condition.
You can consult me at lybrate for proper homoeopathic treatment.

Hello,
these medications do not cause such side effects. And the pain that you are describing does not seem to be heart related. Still, considering history of cardiomyopathy, get your ecg done once. Revert back online in case of any queries.
Take care. Stay safe.

As per guideline directed medical therapy. your father is still having under dosing of medications. Contact your cardiologist and discuss about this. This may improve your father's ejection fraction and may improve symptoms like lower limb swelling.
