Dear lybrate-user, please relax. Your rubbing vigorously has infected your ear, so that the use of antibiotic drops will further add to your troubles rather than provide any cure, so please stop any kind of self medication instantly. You may consult your nearby specialist or feel free to book an appointment as your consultant.

Neurologist is not the right specialist to treat anxiety. He seems to have prescribed a masala of medications. Consult a psychiatrist, who is the right person to treat anxiety. Sometimes CBT needs to be combined with anxiolytics for better outcomes. All the best.
