the medication given are correct for seborrheic dermatitis. However if you have too much dandruff even that can tigger hairfall. If you have an hairfall consider checking blood levels like vit d, vit b12, serum proteins. And consult some other doctor in your city.

I have seen the details. Your fasting & pp glucose levels are too high. In fact you need a much stronger correction. More drugs are needed. What is the hba1c%? Ideally in a well controlled person fasting should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% <6.8% (not mentioned). Therefore, your doctor has suggested the newer tratment.
