Hi,
your symptoms look more like allergic rhinitis or could be simple viral (flu). Please exclude any allergen that might have triggered your symptoms. Antibiotics do not play any role in such cases. Substitute cetirizine with tab allegra 120 mg twice a day for 4-5 days. Otrivin nasal drops twice a day for 3 days followed by steam.
Hope this helps!

In Allopathy, anti-histaminics or immunosuppressant medicines like steroids are used which only give temporary relief, with the problem returning once the medicine is stopped. On the other hand, during Homeopathy treatment of allergy is cured by strengthening the immune system and the symptoms subside on their own. At the same time, it needs to be understood that this is purely natural allergy treatment. No steroids or anti allergic medicines are used. The immunity is strengthened by Homeopathy ...more

Dear Lybrate user,
cetirizine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching. It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. Cetirizine does not prevent hives or prevent/treat a serious allergic reaction (such as anaphylaxis). Therefore, if your doctor has prescribed epinephrine to treat allergic reactions, always carry your epinephrine inject...more

I have seen the details mentioned. In a person with diabetes most important part is to achieve a stric glucose control with FBG < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6,5%. Because high blood glucose is the one that damages all the vital organs including kidneys.
As regards the Tablet Gloeye, I have absolutely no idea whether it has any effect at all. Because there is NO Medicine availabke which delays or prevents cataract till now. So tak...more
