Asked for male, 47 years old from Solapur

I am 47 years old male, I got viral fever before 12 days fever controlled from 2nd days. I was prescribed 3 days course of cefpodoxime. Bloating and mouth ulcers problem persists for 8-9 days. Cbc first report shows platelet 1.11, wbc 3800 doctor suggested another 10 days course of the same. Second report shows platelet 1.25,wbc 3400. Since 3 days my intake is much improved. What should I do?

Do not worry.
Just take well balanced diet. It will be effective follow up by cbc to be done revert reports.

Hi i'm 25 years female, i've pain in my pelvic region after excretion. Doctor said i've piles and other said I haven't. I don't understand what's is that? Doctor prescribed pregabalin, cefpodoxime & ofloxacin, rabeprazole & domperidone, thiocolchicoside. After taking these medicines I feel weakness and stomach ache. Can I continue these or not? Hi, I am a ckd patient with creatinine level 4.1 (previous month was 2.2) & BP is around 200/100 (previous month was around 165/95) & blood urea has reached from 65 to 89. 2 mg/dl and hb has lowed from 11.3 to 10.5 now. For suddenly increased BP, i have been undergoing a local physician's treatment only to adjust the doses for control the BP before 1 month, but bp is not going down & did not find any improvement on health rather than in this one month I got all of the creatinine, blood urea, hb test reports more worsen than previous month added ecg report is not normal now. ANOTHER PROBLEM HAS occurred. On my back side an inflamed cyst has been occurred one week before. Local surgeon denied to cut it out without a nephrologist guidance. 2 days back, it turned into white from reddish and no smelling puss was coming out from it. I went to an another surgeon who said this posterior axillary swelling cyst needs to dressing. Dr. did the dressing and prescribed two medicines which are given below 1) CEFOCLOX XL 200 (Daily 2 TIME FOR 6 DAYS) 2) P 500 (same as) A/C to Dr. opinion, I must be have taken these tabs for not circulating the infection into blood. BUT ARE THESE DRUGS AFFECTED BADLY IN MY KIDNEY FUNCTION AND WILL INCREASE THE CREATININE LEVEL high? Please help me out to advice whether the cyst related antibiotic drug hasn't any negative impact to kidney function.

Hello doc 2 months back I have travelled around 200 km from bike and from the very next day. I had severe abdominal pain accompanied by vomiting, bloating ,nausea and diarrhoea then I start taking medications. A lot of medication but none of them was effective except rifaximin 200 mg which I took twice a day for 5 days and it gave me a lot of relief. But after few days of stopping medication symptoms started appearing again. Then I changed my doctor and currently I am taking chloramphenicol 500 mg cefpodoxime 200 mg but these are not proving effective, also my hair start falling.In my ultrasound report there were features of mild ileitis. Its been 2 month now and I am getting depressed. Now should I stick to these tablet or should I go back to rifaximin. And one more thing .Is my disease curable?

Chlorhexadine doesn't stain easily it's the tartar or deposit get scaling polishing done by a dentist than brush twice daily especially at night for ulcers pl send a picture of the ulcers to understand that better.

I had my widal test as 1: 80, 1: 80. I was admitted in hospital and treated with piptaz antibiotics for 3 days. They discharged me as wbc count was back to normal and fever was gone. After 1 day, fever was back on every afternoon like before. Widal was negative. Recently, did a fever profile, it's again showing widal positive 1: 80, 1: 80 after 10 days. I still have around 100.4 F fever, not more than that. Its less in morning. Please suggest what's needs to be done. Doc is adamant to admit in hospital again. I've changed my doctor, previously was on cefixime antibiotics, new doc prescribed cefpodoxime antibiotics.

Widal reports showing 1:80 titres are not confirmative of typhoid infection but there is some kind of primary infection which we have to treat and we might need a combination of antibiotics say for example ( cefixime with ofloxacin)

I am a mother of two kids 3.5 n 10 p months old. I have a question to all the doctors. Ppl say common cold is s common n cures naturally. While I ahve seen with both of kids n myself it has a cycle which ia of runny nose 2 days, stuffy nose 1-3 days and then coughing for 6 plus days. I have tried curing them with so many home remedies but nothing seems to help. Everytime I have to take my kids to doctor either homeopathic or allopathic for one or the other phase of the cycle. Like coughing etc for which doctor prescribes antibiotic like currently to my daughter for cough in sleep she is prescribed cefpodoxime. Why is common cold not common nowadays.

There is no role of antibiotics in Common cold. Cough during sleep may be due to nostrils block. Instill saline nasal drop in each nostrils that may be helpful.

Hi doc! I am suffering from hives and angio edema since 1.5 months. Hives coming back for every 3 to 4 days. And these occurs especially on both sides of my stomach and itching in lower legs and sometimes all over body. I doubted on my mosquito net which was installed before 2. 5 months, the dust forms all over it. I removed it. Even after I removed it before 15 days, these hives coming. I used antibiotics (cefpodoxime proxitile before 3 months for fever. Is it was causes hives? I am confusing. And if im taking zyrtec tablet, my head spinning all around. So I used it in half every time. So kindly tell me is this any serious problem? And what is the permanent solution for it? Thanks in advance.
