If you have fever then suspect infection. If not then stop ramipril. If it is due to ramiprl,it will take time to subside.

You are very much aware and concerned about your health and doing fine as evident from your description. First thing you should do is to increase the dose amlodipine to 10 mg and regular check of your bp. If if is still not coming down then it would be better to add and/or replace another medicines.
