Good Evening Doctor. I'm 66 yrs. Dr. after suffering TIA stroke 3 years back and last April gain I felt slightly 2nd effect of TIA Stroke effect. After which I started feeling even more weak. Every 15 days I use to see new small problems and Dr. went on giving various medicines. I even started physiotherapy as I have no strength in my hands and legs. But these new medication was not helping me. So as 2nd opinion I consulted another GP doctor and he told me that I'm taking too many medicines and that's making me weak and asked me to stop all those and just stick to my regular medicines Eltroxin 25 mcg for thyroid, Telma 20 mg for BP only when BP shows more than 140 /90 otherwise told Telma 20 not needed, Calaptin 40 mg morning, deplatt A 75 mg for Afternoon after lunch and Avas 5 mg and Calaptin 40 mg after dinner. So I'm just taking these regular medicines and stopped the rest. Now for strength this specialist Doctor advised me to take 1 injection of Arachitol 6lakh and asked to take Vitcofol 2 cc injection alternate days 5 doses and Nurokind capsule for 1 month twice a day. So today was my last Vitcofol 2 cc 5th dose of injection. I'm feeling some strength in body and happy. But since I started this injection and Nurokind capsule I'm feeling a kind of stomach twisting and vomiting feeling I'm not feeling hungry always feeling full. I'm not getting vomit but feeling like that. Doctor I request you to please help me? Do you think that stomach twisting and vomiting sensation was due to these injection and Nurokind capsule Or else do you think any other serious health issue has come? Doctor I got all my tests, ECG everything done and all are normal. So why now I'm feeling this stomach twisting and vomiting like feeling? Please advise. Thanking you

The use of intravenous adenosine or the calcium channel blocker verapamil are considered safe and effective therapies for controlling svts.

Good Evening. Please do not discard my request. Please read my problem completely. 3 years back my mother suffered TIA attack something like paralytic stroke after treatment she recovered and takes Telma 20, Deplatt 75, Calaptin 40 mg and Avas 5mg. Everything was going on well even though she had little weakness and did not get her complete strength. But however after 3 years suddenly last week she complained of pain in Right hand a pulling like tight feeling then suddenly she felt her Right hand is very weak and is not like her left hand and felt tingling sensation in fingers of Right hand and lost grip in her Right hand. We were very much worried as to what is this after 3 years again. So we took her to Apollo hospital where Dr. asked for few tests like Lipid profile, ECG, 2D ECHO and Carotid doppler some ultrasound tests. All her tests showed normal. So Doctor said nothing to worry reports are normal but it was again a symptom of TIA Paralytic stroke attack. Doctor changed Deplatt 75 to Deplatt 75 A. Which has (aspirin). Our Doctor said nothing to worry its just come and gone. But this put my family and especially my mother in a lot of fear as to why this stroke effect had come back after 3 years when BP and other reports are normal. I need your help to please tell me is anything serious going to happen to my mother? Is it any indication to serious health problem? She again lost her strength and her confidence of recovery and is having sleepless nights from 1 week. Please assist me. Will my mother be completely cured or will these attack keep coming and going. Please advice if any risk involved. Thanking you Shalini.

As the meaning of tia goes. The patient recovers completely within next 24 hours. If not. Then we call it a stroke. A tia is said to be a warning for a stroke. Good that she is under proper medications which are given to prevent a major attack. You may ask the physician to take care of her anxiety and give her some reassurances.

Dear Doctors, I have peyronie disease since 2011. Now my plaque is calcified and hardened and settled. I am also not having any pain in penis as earlier while erection. Howevwe, the length of my penis is shortened by 01 inch and upward bend is there. The plaque is there in top of penis to lateral side On both in mid of shaft with hourglass shape of penis while erection. I does not have any problem with ejaculation. I have read about gotu kola in many forum on internet and also in lybrate in Dr. Rahul gupta post. I want to know whether the drug is useful in such late disease condition on calcified settled plaque. Also is there any formulation of gotu kola available to apply topically on plaque on penis directly without any allergy or adverse effects? Does there any chance to soften the plaque and gain the penile length and girth back with improvement in penile bend With any other natural or ayurvedic Topical therapies? I am applying castor oil and cow ghee but did not see any improvement in long term. Waiting for positive and helpful reply! request to reply on below mentioned mail only. Thank you.

Pill, such as pentoxifylline or potassium para-aminobenzoate (Potaba) may help.
If those don’t work, you may get a shot of verapamil or collagenase (Xiaflex) into the scar tissue of the penis. If nothing else works, your doctor may consider surgery, but usually only for men who can’t have sex because of their Peyronie’s disease.

If you need treatment, your doctor will consider surgery or medicine. First, your doctor will probably prescribe a pill, such as pentoxifylline or potassium para-aminobenzoate (Potaba). If those don't work, you may get a shot of verapamil or collagenase (Xiaflex) into the scar tissue of the penis.

Age 66 yrs. I suffered paralytic stroke but recovered and still weak and on medicines like Telma 20, deplatt A 75 mg, Calaptin 40 mg, Avas 5 mg and My TSH is 4.46 as such my Doctor advised me to take every morning on empty stomach Eltroxin 25 mcg. Last month I was feeling weak so Dr. said my BP was showing 125/ 64 as such asked me to stop taking Telma 20 and check BP everyday and asked to take Telma 20 only on the day my BP shows 140/90 or higher. Dr. said because I'm taking Eltroxin 25 mcg and after breakfast Telma 20 as such BP is showing less and it's not good because as a TIA stroke patient my BP should be above 140/90. So since 1 month everyday I'm checking my BP and the day I see 140/90 I'm taking Telma BP tablet. Everything was going fine. But since 1 week I started getting pains in my neck, shoulder. I feel nerves pulling at back of my head to neck and shoulders and also a nerve near my breast is also pulling and paining since few days. But since 4 days the pain has moved into my head and I feel heaviness as the nerves from head are pulling to back of head then to neck shoulders and going to the breast where a nerve near my nipple is pulling and paining. I have spondylitis also. So I thought may be because of spondylitis the pain is. The pain is not continuous only for some time but comes on and off. Especially troubling my sleep in the night. This morning I visited my Dr. and he gave me 15 days medicines and asked me not to worry. Please see the medicines what Dr. has given as I'm really getting worried about my health because something or the other health problem is coming as one problem is gone a new problem is ready. I'm very depressed about my health please help. Today's 15 days medicines for this pulling in head nerves pain in neck shoulders and nerve pulling in breast are Omnacortil 10 tablet, Razo 20 tablet and Divalgress ER 250 all these to be used for 15 days. Doctor do you think because I stopped BP tablet new problem started or as my Dr. advised take BP tablet only when my BP is high is OK or NO? Doctor please read my problem and help me as I'm really stressed and depressed with my health.

While there's limited scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of home remedies for peyronie's disease, some individuals have reported finding relief through the following approaches:
warm compresses: applying a warm compress to the affected area may help reduce pain and promote relaxation.
Massage: some men find gentle massage of the scar tissue beneficial. However, it's essential to be cautious and avoid causing further injury.
Oral supplements: some people explore the use ...more
