Dear user. I can understand. You are HEALTH ANXIOUS, it seems. Hypochondriasis is an Obsession with the idea of having a serious but undiagnosed medical condition. Health anxiety is not a serious mental disorder but without proper treatment the person affected could be depressed and continuously engaged in negative thoughts. I suggest online counseling, cognitive Behavior Therapy and Relaxation therapy. Take care.

Dear lybrate-user, the anxiety will continue to fade away. It is common for it to peek once in a while. Right now, it is important to learn some techniques to manage anxiety. The simplest would be mindful breathing, you should look it up. Also, make sure you are eating on time, sleeping on time and that you get some exercise everyday. If the anxiety persists, please report it to your psychiatrist. Make sure you take your prescribed medication. You will be okay.

Dear Lybrate user,
have a talk with your psychiatrist and mention him the issues you're going through and accordingly the medication dozes will be altered. Along with medication consider the option of going for therapy session, cbt. This will help you with anxiety and the thoughts that you get. Adding to that, practice mindful breathing and meditation. It not only helps you to stay calm and peaceful but also helps in building awareness and relaxation.

Just check by reducing the dose slightly as it can be due to anxiety or due to some anticholinergic side effects of clomipramine. But mind that clomipramine is a wonder drug for ocd and if ocd worsens, just continue the same dose as life with ocd is more difficult than life with poor episodic memory.

If you are taking these medications on your own, it is advised that you consult a Psychiatrist who will assess you in detail and prescribe medication as per your symptoms. Self medication does more harm than good, and without proper knowledge or understanding of the medications, you are likely to end up worse off. If you are taking these medications on advice of a Psychiatrist, talk to them about your current symptoms and they will make changes in your medication to make you more comfortable. Do...more
