Asked for Female, 53 years old from Navi Mumbai

I am pratima mitra. Age 50. From navi mumbai suffering from b12 deficiency. It’s at very low level at 50. Started taking myco supplements of b12 as shown in picture and also took 8 injections on alternate days of 500 mcg from last 20 days. Kindly advise how many more injections and medications to be taken to get to normal level I am still not having balance while walking. I feel will fall down. I have gastric problems that might be the reason for deficiency I feel also when I take medicine and injections my palpitations increases and I cannot sleep at night kindly advise how should I go about it I have no high bp neither I have blood sugar problem. Iso wanted your advice on this.

First correct the cause for which the levels went down.
If it is actually lacking in supply then all your family members who eats the same food should have the same problems....

My wife is 4 months pregnant. She is 27 years old. She was complaining of pain in the lower abdomen. When I called the gynaecologist, she advised for a USG. USG study reveals as follows. 1) Single live fetus at 14 wks gestation. 2) mobile presentation this time. 3) liquor is adequate largest cord free pocket is 3.9 cms. 4) PLACENTA IS ANTERIOR LOW LYING, LOWER EDGE REACHING INT OS, NOT COVERING IT, GRADE O MATURITY. 5) NO GROSS STRUCTURAL ANOMALY SEEN. The Gynaecologist advised for a complete bed rest and even suggested that my wife should not move even a little. And if she did She would bleed. And advised to take Michelle (Progesterone) tabs twice a day, ISR 40 (Isoxsuprine Hydrochloride, AqSusten 25 (Progesterone) injections. I went to another Gynaecologist, the one who well he is F.C.R.O.G. (UK) he said that don't give any medicines except Folic Acid, and that bed rest at this situation does nothing. Kindly advice me what to do. My wife is very tensed and cried a lot.

this is a little controversial .Actually there are two schools of thought.Both the doctors are right However in my opinion it is always better to be more careful.She can take rest at home and carry on her low exertion domestic activities and not necessarily bed rest.However travelling and sexual intercourse has to be avoided.She can continue with michelle and ISR40injections .You can consult your gynaec and shift to tablets also.Mental relaxation also is equally important

My wife is 52 years. For the past ten years she is taking tablets for Type 2 diabetes, blood pressure, vertigo and mental depression. She reached menopause state 2 years back. She is complaining that few tablets such as gluconorm G1, neurobion forte, menopace ISO that she consumes is being passes out intact (unchanged and unabsorbed) in the faeces for past 2 yrs. Further she says that some cooked vegetables like greens, carrot passes out without digestion and found appeared in faeces .She feels that there is no use of consuming these tablets/ vegetables and stopped taking it. She breaks down some tablets into pieces and consumes it. Please explain the reason for it. Further I request the ways and means to improve digestion and absorption. This will help her to control her diabetes and symptoms during menopause. She has to keep herself busy. Engaging in activities helps her to maintain good health.

Gynae gave me 2 days medicine for spotting block (tablet trapic 500 mg for two days) now spotting stop. Is it perimenopause symptom. I am further taking calcium tablet and menopace iso tablet a day. Now brown discharge stop but I still feel mild cramps like period pain or lower abdominal pain but specic after consuming calcium tablet. Is it some kind of side effect? I always feel relief whenever I walking. I have no other symptoms or medical. Issues.

These are premenstrual symptoms and it could be a side effect of calcium. Especially if the salt of calcium is carbonate. Even then it is advisable to get a usg done to rule out any other problem causing discharge. You can add an 3nzyme to relieve bloating and indigestion.
