If you are not a diabetic but overweight reduce the weight.
If your weight is normal for height then maintain it.
Exercise regularly specially aerobic like walking swimming cycling etc.
Fenofibrate is better choice for hypertrigyceridemia.

Mr. V Sriram, Thanks for the query
Looking at your height and weight, it is clear that with a BMI of 31.96 kgs/Sq meter you are already in grade one obesity. Your ideal body weight should be about 63 kgs (normal BMI < 23 kgs/Sq meter). Unless this is addressed things will not improve. You have an excess of 24 kgs. Reduce that all your lipids will improve. There is no treatmet needed for TGL 300 mg. Thanks.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The test is to measure level of insulin secretion and resistance to its action. Not really needed in routine treatment. Most important is your fasting, PP glucose levels & HbA1c% are more relevant for initiating the treatment. Plus diet control plus exercise which play equally importnat role in controlling blood glucose levels. Thanks.
