The test is to measure level of insulin secretion and resistance to its action. Not really needed in routine treatment. Most important is your fasting, PP glucose levels & HbA1c% are more relevant for initiating the treatment. Plus
diet control plus exercise which play equally importnat role in controlling blood glucose levels. Thanks.
