Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the query and understand your concern. However, there is no mention of blood glucose levels (fasting & pp), hba1c%, your weight, height, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise and lipid profile as well as bp readings. All these details are needed before any advise can be given. Action of glimiperide and metformin is different. The need for the patient depends on the severity of glucose levels. If you are looking for a less priced glimiperide the...more

Nitrosamines increase the risk of cancer at above acceptable levels over long periods of time. We don't expect short term exposure at levels above acceptable levels would increase cancer. However, consult a good physician for further information in this regard.

Metformin is safe drug used for insulin sensisitation. It will not make you thin. If you are very particular to change it, tab hyponidd one twice daily is an effective substitute. After 2 weeks, you can increase the dose to 2 tabs twice daily.

in my opinion it should not be used. keep your face dry, wash 4-5 time a day, apply retino-a cream at night and wash your face before sun rise as sun rays can darken your face. Welcome

As your bmi is normal (55kg weight), there is no need to take metformin. It is given only in obese patients to reduce weight. Evacure is vitamin tablet, and it is not going to make you pregnant. In pcod, to get pregnant, clomiphene citrate to be started from day 3 of menstrual cycle and egg growth to be monitored by follicular scan. This is the normal course of treatment initially for any woman with infertility with pcod.

Pcos is a very common problem and not such a serious condition. The best treatment for pcos usually is to lose some weight if you are overweight. Stress worsens this condition and so relax and in fact try not to get worked about getting pregnant. The medications you have been prescribed are supportive medicines and mainly reduce insulin sensitization in the body. They are not going to directly cause ovulation (release of egg from ovary) which is the main problem in pcos.
