He maybe having pharyngitis i.e inflammation of the pharynx. Many children also have tonsillitis. So cannot confirm without examining. However give lozenges, warm fluids like soups to soothe. And continue gargling with diluted povidone iodine solution. Pain will reduce gradually.

Don't ignore Fissure as lead to serious complications, so consult a expert for permanent solution. You can't avoid the disease but you can cure it. No such solution is used for this, so have proper medication.

Seems that you might have an allergy to povidone iodine solution i.e betadine. That can be confirmed by doing a patch test. Always use betadine with adequate quantity 10 ml and mixed it with warm water of same amount after proper consultation with your doctor. In your condition you have to take some oral corticosteroid drugs but that too after proper consultation. For personal consultation use doctor code ascb34. Thanks.

Hello-
balanitis is an inflammation of the glans penis (head of the penis); it is fairly common and affects approximately 3-11% of males during their lifetime. Posthitis is an inflammation of the foreskin (prepuce). Balanoposthitis involves both the glans and the foreskin and occurs in approximately 6% of uncircumcised males.

I have seen the details mentioned. However it is not clear whether her glucose levels are in good control as there is no specific information. If glucose levels are not n good control then wound may not heal fast or may develop some other issues. If pus comes out means there is infection in the wound. It needs to be properly cleaned then ointments like povidone iodine can be used. If amoxy- clavilanic has not helped then you may have to use other antibiotics. Ple...more
