Lybrate-user, hyperthyroidism is treated in the following manner:
1) using anti thyroid drugs like methimazole, carbimazole or propylthiouracil. One of these drugs is given for a period of 18 to 24 months. This causes suppression of thyroid gland. Take oral antibiotic (augmentin duo 625 mg) daily two time. If this causes diarrhoea and pain abdomen, you can take probiotics (vizylac, enterogermina, prolactam, sporolac ). Painkillers (tab zerodol sp daily 2 times after meal) along with tab pan 40 before meal, if you have pain, fever, headache. Topical betadene ointment or tbact ointment along with cleaning with hydrogen peroxide solution. If no improvement occur, consult with your dermatologist.

Post operative wash with simple water is sufficient. At the most, you may add a small amount of antiseptic do not try other soln for this delicate structure.

As long as you take nutritionally rich diet, you don't need vitamin supplements. Take iodised salt.
You don't have to restrict salt intake unless you have any medical condition.

You can use since the cut is fresh you should have dressing with betadine after sometime you can use soframycine ointments. No water touching the wound to prevent infection.

Infection in mouth can be due to various reason but since you have commited the mistake and she is having problem kindly show to doctor for checkup and treatment she can use betadine /chlor hexidine mouthwash and apply boro glycerin regularly and benzocaine ointment for pain.
