Ask concern incharge in the hospital, they will help you. Otherwise, wait for a month, it will show up, if no elevated lesion (reddish papule), then you can give BCG once more.

well first you need to confirm is whether BCG was given to child or not...if was given and scar doesn't appear then it is still okie ,it can happen...and you can wait till 8 to 14 weeks after vaccination till scar appears on left shoulder where it was given..

but if no record of BCG vaccination then you shall repeat it

You can start vaccination schedule from any day, better would be to start one month after BCG vaccination, if the time has passed you can schedule your baby's vaccination any time from a pediatrician.

You can revaccinate the child after discussing with your pediatrician.
It can be done till 5 years of age.
Examination by the pediatrician is needed to evaluate need of revaccination.

OPV, BCG and Hepatitis B are mandatory for all new born babies. The next vaccines would be due at 6 weeks of life.

All primary vaccines except BCG and oral polio till 9 months of age are given in the thigh which is a safe place. So your nurse has done right. Nothing to worry.

Yes, it is compulsory to have the vaccination scar to be sure that the immunity is there and now you can repeat the vaccine as there is no scar which means the first vaccination was a failure.
