Dear Lybrate user
along with medicines, you need to take counseling too. Medicines alone will not help and they are also not good in the long run as you have already written that you feel nausea and tiredness because of these. So, taking counseling would be a wise decision. Also you need to take care of your diet. A proper balanced diet is very much important for you.
Contact a counselor near you in person or you can also contact me for online counseling.

Dear lybrate-user,
you psychiatrist knows your diagnosis and treatment algorithms. Sizodon or quetiapine is given to augment fluoxetine and atomoxetine - not just for insomnia. They are given at low dose also. Still you need to make lifestyle changes to control your weight, sugar levels and other medical illnesses. (i don't know your age - but I know your weight as 104 kg). Don't worry about withdrawals now - it is a long way.

It is a highly regulated medicine and schedule x drug. It may not be given online or tele consultation. So kindly consult a psychiatrist in person and get evaluated and if eligible get it prescribed in triplicate prescription. Good luck.

Hi lybrate-user I think you should contact your doctor for these changes. 5 mg of axepta may not really help with anything. You should reduce risperidone further if you want but continue the axepta. Once again, refer to and trust your child’s doctor on this one
hope this helps

Hello
it is unfortunately true that ocd is one of the most difficult problem to treat for the doctor and to experience for the patient. Every medicine has side effects for sure but they are much less harmful than the disease itself. Already you have poor control of symptoms for 10 long years. I think you should get full knowledge about ocd first. I suggest the website www. Nimhans. Ac. In, you can find a link for ocd clinic and material for general public.
