I am taking care of a stray. His back is itching. I have given him avil 25 twice daily since 5 days and an ivermectin 6 mg just two days ago over a recommendation from an online veterinary. But he has started biting himself and scratching again. What could be his cause of itching?

Half year back means the present symptoms are not due to avil. You need to consult a psychiatrist get evaluated and find the reason for your negative thoughts and get treated for the same. Good luck.

My father is having red spots and fungal infection like things all over his body which itches all the day he is using quadriderm and tenovate-m creams but no use once he used zalim lotion too but we stopped the same, pls suggest something effective immediately. coconut oil for moisturizer and continue tenovate m for only 2 week.

You have to be investigated. Chest x ray and sputum for afb to rule out tb. If there is no tuberculosis then go for spirometry. You should consult pulmonologist.

It is due to you drink alcohol with dizone that leads disulfiram reaction. Aversion therapy for you for deaddiction. So don't take liquor with this drug. Good drug for treatment but take it undersupervision of psychiatrist/addiction psychiatrist.
