HI . Sorry to hear about your problem. It is good that you are feeling well after the stent. Please do not stop any medications till you speak to your cardiologist. You may be able to come off some of the medicines but you will have to be on others for life. These medications will be continued to prevent your risk of developing new blockages.

If you aim at shedding weight / fat why do you need to take medicines or resort to short cuts? These will not help. There is no easy way to lose weight. You have to exercise and eat healthy to work it off. Start by cutting out rice, baked items, bread, sugar and oily foods from your diet completely. U need to check fasting lipid profile. And according to it I can suggest dose of atorvastatin. But at this age your ct will definately show blockages. U should go for conventional angiography if you really having anginal typical symptoms to know real picture. your medicines are insufficient.

2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. No sugar, potato, rice
